Collection: The Cow and the Calf, 1996
The Cow & the Calf Came Down the Path - due to the addition of water lines and tanks, cisterns are no longer needed or used these days. This one is located on Haleakala Ranch just above the polo grounds. There used to be another larger cistern in the area but the ranch bulldozed it over to keep cattle from falling in. I suppose the little one was easy to put a fence around... or maybe they realize that Cisterns make interesting rock features for me to paint.
