For sunrise, reservations are required and can be booked up to 60 days in advance on Recreation.gov. Sunset doesn't require reservations, but it's recommended to arrive early due to crowds.
It can be chilly at over 10,000 feet, so bring warm-weather clothing. But we promise it's worth it. Whether you rise early or catch the sunset, it’s a breathtaking high-elevation highlight.
